Government Hill is a neighborhood in Anchorage located just North of the Ship Creek area. It is bordered by the port of Anchorage to the West and JBER (Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson) to the East; and JBEr to the North and Ship Creek to the South. Being another neighborhood near Downtown, it has close access to the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail. There are also several parks within the Government hill neighborhood.
