Northeast Anchorage is located between JBER (Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson) and the New Seward Highway to the North and Northern Lights Bouevard to the South; and Boniface Parkway to the West and the Chugach State Park to the East.
Northeast Anchorage has many large park features, such as the Chugach State park and Centennial Park. Residents of this area also have quick access to the Russian Jack Springs Park, which is on the West side of the neighborhood.
Residents may shop at the newly constructed Tikahtnu Commons shopping center. This neighborhood, being a northern one, makes great residences for military members due to the short commuting distance to the Boniface and North Muldoon Road gates.
